She wears many hats. She’s a Creative Director, Product Manager and Vice President of Viviela Shoes.

What’s your background- how did you get involved in the industry that your company works in?
I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I studied fashion design when I moved to California in 2006 and then began my life working for brands like Oakley and Billabong. Even though I have always been involved in the fashion industry, it has been a very different and exhilarating experience making a transition into footwear with Viviela Shoes.
What do you consider to be your company’s greatest accomplishment?
I would consider our greatest accomplishment thus far to be the smooth transition from London to Miami. Relocating the brand has been a daunting task but my team has been hardworking and supportive of the challenges we’ve had to face.
Why did you choose to work in a co-working space? And why in Miami?
Miami is constantly progressing and developing into a more diverse city each day. As members of the fashion industry, we appreciate these rising opportunities and take pride in being part of the growth. Working in a co-working space was a great idea from the start because we get to meet so many great people with various talents and occupations.
What’s your favorite part of working at the Lab?
It is the never the same day twice. The friendly dogs, people, and atmosphere make it a positive place to work.
What advice would you give to someone that is looking to work in your industry? Or someone who is considering entrepreneurship, in general?
It is a hard battle due to the competition and ever-changing trends. However, don’t give up on your vision and remain consistent.
