Please join fellow Babson alumni and friends this year for one of Babson’s oldest traditions – Founder’s Day! Since 1947, a day has been set aside to recognize Roger W. Babson, founder and first president of Babson College, and his passion for entrepreneurship, education, and philanthropy.
This year we will be welcoming Manny Medina, Founder and Managing Partner of Medina Capital and eMerge Americas. Mr. Medina was also the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Terremark Worldwide, Inc., a publicly traded company acquired by Verizon in April of 2011. A tireless advocate and pioneer for Miami’s technology landscape, we are honored to have him join us as Miami gears up for eMerge Americas conference this May.
Matt Haggman, Miami Program Director for the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, will facilitate an evening conversation with Mr. Medina discussing emerging trends in South Florida technology, media, and finance.
