“Paradise Chef” Start-up Edition Lunch Panel
Our lunch panel ““Paradise Chef Start-up Edition” gathers us to celebrate the faces, spaces, policies, and technologies that make food in South Florida some of the most delicious, diverse, and innovative in the world. Featured food experts/entrepreneurs will share stories of their restaurants and food businesses and discuss food trends in “Paradise”. Samples will be distributed and discussed during the panel discussion.
“Pre-Revenue Valuation” Workshop
Valuation of Early Stage Companies is designed to present several key methodologies that he and many other experienced angel investors have found as fundamental approaches to properly valuing early stage companies including Risk Factor Summation Method, Venture Capital Method and Scorecard Method. The workshop also presents the importance of portfolio strategies and the role of portfolio returns in the valuation process. Understanding a proper strategy will also help entrepreneurs to properly manage their expectations and gain insight as to why investors value deals the way they do.

This year’s conference will showcase ten of the most promising early-stage companies in South Florida through investor pitches and product demos. Attendees will meet some of the area’s startups and learn also hear from industry experts who have started, invested in and grown successful companies through presentations and exhibits.
