WED 5/8: Gutter Films

May’s theme is called Deadly Friend. This theme is all about horror films where the killer is motivated to kill by an outside force. In the 80s canadian horror film, The Pit, a young boy’s teddy bear encourages him to kill people by throwing them into a pit in the woods. In the pit live the “Tra-la-logs” strange ape-like monsters that devour people whole.

The film is as creepy as it is bizarre and is regarded as a lost gem of 80s horror. Gutter Films has a beautiful copy of the film to share with you all and we are glad to do so. Join us Wednesday 5/8 for THE PIT!
