Marco Giberti

Marco is a successful serial entrepreneur and investor with more than 25 years of intensive experience in media, technology, and the events industry. He is Founder and CEO of Vesuvio Ventures, providing entrepreneurs access to coaching, partnerships, advisory, and capital.

After several years in a successful career as a corporate executive at Apple, Marco pursued his entrepreneurial ambitions and became:

• Co-founder and Board Member of Mind Opener, a leading publishing group in Latin America that was later sold to British Pearson Media Group, and

• Co-founder and Board Member of e-mind, an internet and media communications company that was sold to Liberty Media.

• President, CEO and co-founder of Mind Trainer (later Reed Exhibitions), a firm specializing in the organization of major regional trade-shows and events that was sold to Reed Elsevier after a successful long-term joint venture.

Marco is a Harvard Business School OPM Graduate, and member of YPO, the Young Presidents Organization and a frequent speaker at industry conferences. He is also a co-author of the best-selling book The Face of Digital focused on how digital technologies are changing the live events business industry.

Johanna Mikkola

Johanna Mikkola is the Co-founder and CEO of Wyncode Academy a leading technical school dedicated to training top technology talent through best-in-class accelerated and immersive programs in the middle of Wynwood, Miami. With various courses in web development, UX/UI product design and digital marketing, Wyncode’s innovative curriculum prepares students to compete in the national job arena. This is demonstrated by Wyncode’s 90% job placement rate, 650+ technology graduates and 315+ hiring partners. Johanna was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur in June 2015 joining a prestigious network of only the most select high impact entrepreneurs around the globe. Johanna is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Babson College WIN LAB, sits on the advisory board of eMerge Americas, Vizcaya Museum’s Technology Advisory Committee and is an Ambassador for Aminta Ventures. She is also a member of Entrepreneur Organization. She was recently selected as Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s female leader in technology and was a finalist for Entrepreneur of the year. Before launching Wyncode in 2014, Johanna spent a decade in corporate management with the National Hockey League becoming the highest-ranking female in her department’s history. There she led a team of managers as well as overseeing the business operations of the officiating department, managing the largest departmental budget within the organization.

Maruice Ferre

Maurice R. Ferré MD is CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors at INSIGHTEC, the innovator of incisionless surgery. Dr. Ferré brings over 20 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur in the medical technology industry.

Prior to INSIGHTEC, Ferré served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of MAKO Surgical Corporation, a transformational robotic surgical company that he co-founded. The company was acquired by Stryker Corp. for $1.65 billion in 2013. Prior to MAKO, Ferré was Founder, CEO and President of Visualization Technology Inc. (VTI). VTI became the world leader in image-guided surgery with a navigation platform for ENT and was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2002.

Dr. Ferré received his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from Boston University in 1992. He was the recipient of the prestigious Ernest & Young 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year Award and was awarded BioFlorida’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

Dr. Ferré is a member of the Board of Trustees for Boston University and is also active on the boards of The Everglades Foundation and Endeavor Miami.
